Your Guide to living at Hudson Tea in Hoboken
I’ve called Hoboken home since 2003 and have lived at Hudson Tea since 2017, where I also own my home. So when I talk about living at Hudson Tea, I’m sharing both my perspective as a resident and my experience as a Hoboken Realtor®.
Hudson Tea is one of Hoboken’s most recognizable waterfront condo communities, with six buildings offering everything from historic loft-style residences to newer luxury condos. The buildings vary in their layouts, finishes, views, amenities, and overall feel.

The Hudson Tea Buildings
Hudson Tea includes six luxury condo buildings along Hoboken’s uptown waterfront, each with its own character, residences, and amenities.
My video above focuses specifically on 1400 Hudson Street, 1450 Washington Street, and 1500 Garden Street, the three buildings that make up the Hudson Tea Condo Association and share access to certain amenities.
1400 Hudson Street
Built in 2017, 1400 Hudson is the second-newest building in the Hudson Tea community, with 236 residences ranging from studios to three-bedrooms. It features modern finishes and extensive amenities, including a rooftop pool with views of the Hudson River and Manhattan skyline, a fitness center, children’s playroom, dog wash, game room, resident club room, and landscaped courtyard. Urban Market and Club Pilates are located right downstairs, and select residences include on-site parking.
1450 Washington Street
Built by Toll Brothers in 2012, 1450 Washington has 158 residences ranging from studios to three-bedrooms. Amenities include an on-site fitness center and rooftop grilling area with panoramic views of Hoboken and New York City. Residents also have access to the rooftop pool and additional shared amenities at 1400 Hudson. The building is especially convenient to both Trader Joe’s and Urban Market.
1500 Garden Street
Originally a factory, 1500 Garden was converted into condominiums by Toll Brothers in 2008. Its 116 loft-style residences are known for oversized windows, approximately 11- to 13-foot ceilings, abundant natural light, and some of the largest layouts within the Hudson Tea community. Homes range from studios to three-bedrooms, and some offer Manhattan views. Penthouse residences have attached private outdoor space.
1425 Hudson Street
1425 Hudson is the newest building in the Hudson Tea community and has its own separate HOA. With just 99 residences, it has more of a boutique feel. Many homes feature expansive windows, including floor-to-ceiling windows in select residences, bringing in exceptional natural light. The building also has a rooftop dipping pool, water and skyline views, and an uptown location close to the ferry terminal, waterfront, restaurants, and farmers market. Select residences include on-site parking.
1500 Washington Street
1500 Washington is one of the original iconic Hudson Tea loft buildings, converted from the former Lipton Tea factory. Its loft-style residences are known for high ceilings, oversized windows, open layouts, and the industrial character that distinguishes the original Hudson Tea buildings from the newer construction nearby. The building does not have a pool.
1500 Hudson Street
1500 Hudson is the other original Hudson Tea loft building and shares the distinctive loft character associated with the historic Hudson Tea property. Residences feature high ceilings, oversized windows, open layouts, and many homes offer impressive Hudson River and Manhattan views. The building does not have a pool.
